Julius Pryor, III

Pryor speaks about conceptual innovation, being relevant in the 21st century and becoming more comfortable being uncomfortable. Pryor develops kinetic strategies focusing on clarity of objectives and measurable outcomes.  His work is grounded in understanding how organizational culture affects individual and team behavior. He emphasizes sustainable results in the workforce, workplace and global marketplace.

Pryor, a graduate of Morehouse College, has held executive level jobs at Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Russell Athletic, Abbott Labs and Takeda Pharmaceuticals. In more than 25 years as a U.S. Navy Officer, he was in a variety of leadership roles.  He is a U.S. Navy Captain (retired), qualified Surface Warfare Officer & certified instructor for the Navy Officer Leadership Development Program. He completed coursework at the Naval Postgraduate School & the National Defense University.

He has held Division Officer, Executive Officer, Unit Commanding Officer & Fleet Staff Officer billets. He was in the re-commissioning crew of the USS Missouri (BB-63) & is one of a select few to have served as an active duty Battleship Turret Officer. Pryor's new book, “Thriving in a Disruptive World: 6 Critical Concepts for Navigating the 21st Century”, is garnering rave reviews and will be released soon.
