Louis Gutierrez

Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Turner Broadcasting System

Louis Gutierrez is senior vice president of human resources for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.) In this capacity, Gutierrez oversees human resources staff and activity supporting the Turner entertainment and animation, young adult and kids media networks and businesses, including TBS, TNT, Turner Classic Movies, truTV, Peachtree TV, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Adult Swim.

Gutierrez joined Turner Broadcasting from Time Warner Cable, where as regional vice president of human resources for the Los Angeles area he managed recruitment, employee relations, organization development, training, diversity and other functions. Earlier in his career, Gutierrez was vice president of human resources at Disney/ABC Media Networks Group and senior vice president of human resources at Paramount Pictures.

Gutierrez graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. He earned a juris doctor degree at UCLA School of Law. He is member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the State Bar of California.
