
Phyllis Haynes is a partner and principal with Inter-Change Consultants and a specialist in communications including extensive knowledge on new media application. She consults on cross-cultural communications issues and offers assistance to companies who wish to broaden their exposure in the international arena. Haynes was invited by the European Union and the Hellenic Foundation to bring her work to the emerging marketplaces of Central and Eastern Europe. She also served as a professional specialist on the faculty of Emerson College in Boston. Clients include: Verizon, NCAA, Ernst &Young; Columbia University Graduate School of International Public Affairs, National Institutes of Health, and numerous others.
As a speaker, facilitator, trainer, and moderator, Haynes is in demand. Her knowledge of global media, new media technology and cross-cultural communication encompasses over 20 years of experience in television. She is well known as the former co-host of WOR-TV's ( in New York) "Straight Talk" and as a network correspondent for ABC's "Evening News with Peter Jennings" and "Good Morning America." She helps organizations understand how cross-cultural issues can challenge or assist their public image as well as their internal operations.
Haynes holds an M.A. from New York University in Political Science with a concentration in Asian and Russian Affairs. She is fluent in French and has a strong background in Russian.
