Tisha Tallman is the president and CEO of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GHCC). She was also appointed to the Development Authority of DeKalb County in February 2011. In her role at the GHCC, she participated in the APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) CEO Summit 2008 in Lima, Peru. The GHCC was the only Hispanic chamber in the United States to participate. Tallman was invited by the former President of Mexico Vicente Fox and the President of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce to be a member of the Commission on North American Social and Economic Prosperity, as North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) approached the 15th year marks since its signing. Tallman is the former Southeast Regional Counsel of MALDEF, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, a national Latino non-profit organization.
